Actian Zen v15.1 Database
We’ve updated the Sage 50 database to Actian Zen v15.1 to keep your business supported and running smoothly. Earlier versions of the Actian Zen database engine are now out-of-date and unsupported, which can introduce new risks and interrupt your daily business activities.

To Optimize Sage 50, Sage Software has discontinued the following:
- Internet Explorer: Sage has removed any program dependencies to ensure you are operating in a more secure environment. It is recommended you use a supported browser when handling sensitive information.
- Sage Intelligence Reporting Desktop: Sage has retired and no longer supports Sage Intelligence Reporting Desktop.
Reminder of Important Notifications:

Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol: The following only applies to you if you are using Sage 50 release 2020.1 and earlier. To ensure you are using the most current TLS protocol recommended by third-party standards organizations to provide end-to-end security of your data, you are no longer able to install and reactivate release 2020.1 or earlier effective September 30, 2022.
